Cool The Earth-Cool The Earth is a free, ready-to-run climate change assembly program that educates K-8 students and their families about climate change and inspires them to take simple actions to reduce their carbon emissions. The program is successful because it’s fun and empowering for the kids, and their enthusiasm is contagious! Hilton's green team presented this assembly on climate change to the entire school on April 26th,2012. All students learned how their actions impact the climate. They were given action coupon books to take home, and they completed simple actions like turning off lights, walking to school and using reusable bags.
